The Trident also offers the adventure option of abseiling the iconic 50-ft Adomi Bridge. The Adomi Bridge is a two-hinged, silver-latticed, crescent-shaped arch bridge suspended over the River Volta and connecting the Atimpoku and Adomi townships. The Abseil adventure costs 500 GHS for adults and 300 GHS for children.
What the abseil entails
After check-in at the reception of the Trident in Akwamufie, Abseilers will be guided to put on the requisite helmets, harnesses, karabiners and vests. The next step is a 5-km boat cruise to the Adomi Bridge for the Abseil adventure. The 50-ft drop requires going over the dizzying edge, leaning as far back as the Abseil Guide will instruct, and trusting gravity to do the rest until you land on the MV Trident, our cruise boat or another landing craft on the river below. A great spirit of adventure is required for this abseil 🙂
